Troubleshooting
Resolve common publishing, upload, and account problems.
A page does not load
Retry once and preserve any unsaved editor text before navigating away. If the error page shows a request reference, include it when contacting support. Repeated retries are unlikely to fix a validation or permission problem.
An upload does not complete
Keep the editor open until the upload reports completion. Check the network connection and select the file again if it was cancelled. A completed storage upload still needs Mono’s confirmation step before the asset is ready for an episode.
An episode is missing publicly
Confirm that the episode has ready audio and a public status. A future publication time intentionally keeps it out of the site and RSS feed. Check both the public page and raw RSS URL after saving.
An import fails
The source must be a public HTTPS RSS feed. It cannot resolve to a private network address or require authentication. Use preview to see validation errors before starting an account import.
A custom domain is inactive
Verify the exact public DNS record and remove conflicting records. DNS caches can delay changes. Mono cannot activate a hostname that does not publicly resolve to the expected ingress.
Contact support
Email support@mono.fm with the account email, affected page URL, approximate UTC time, and the visible error or request reference. Include the show or episode title when relevant. Never include passwords, card details, API tokens, or private keys.
